When you should consider a less competitive course
Most candidates assume that since the cut-off mark for application to YABATECH is 150, they can use low JAMB scores to apply for any course; including competitive courses like Mass Communication, Science Laboratory Technology and Computer Science. This is usually not a wise decision as high-demand courses have high departmental cut-off marks.
If your JAMB score is within 150-170 and you have mostly C’s in your O’level result, we suggest that you apply for any of the less competitive courses in YABATECH listed below.
