LASU Central Admissions Clearance for Full-Time Undergraduates 2021/2022
Candidates that were admitted into the Lagos State University, LASU, for the 2021/2022 academic session are expected to commence online clearance immediately.
The clearance exercise would be done on the LASU Central Admissions Clearance App (LACACA).
Immediately after the LASU online clearance is completed, successful candidates will be given a clearance certificate and a matriculation number.
You become a student only when you get your matriculation number.
Candidates who cannot complete the LASU Central Admissions Clearance due to certain reasons will forfeit their admission.
How to Complete the LASU Central Admission Clearance for Full-Time Undergraduates
Follow the steps below to complete your online clearance.
Step 1: Pay the Clearance Fee
The LACACA exercise will be done by the LASU consult limited, hence, candidates are expected to pay the sum of ₦5,000.
You can transfer ₦5,000 to the LASU Consult bank details below;
Bank: Providus Bank.
Account Name: LASU CONSULT.
Account Number: 1400352984
Amount: ₦5,000
While doing the transfer, make sure that the account name shows LASU Consult.
Do not send money to anybody to help you do it. You can do it by yourself.
After payment, screenshot the receipt or download a PDF copy of the receipt.
Step 2: Visit the LACACA Portal and log in
You can visit the LASU Central Admissions Clearance App here.
Once you get to the page, log in with your JAMB registration number and surname as password.
Step 3: Upload your Receipt
Upload the receipt from step 1 to the portal.
After uploading, you will be redirected to your dashboard.
Step 4: Fill in your details
On your dashboard, you will be required to fill in your details and upload some documents.
Validate your basic bio data details, confirm your disability status then upload the following documents;
- O’level results.
- Birth certificate.
- UTME/JAMB Result.
- JAMB admission letter.
- Upload a scanned signature. (you can sign on a blank sheet of paper, scan and upload).
Note that your O’level results must have the required five subjects. If you are using two sittings to apply, you must upload the two results.
Your birth certificate must contain the exact date of birth stated on JAMB, your O’level result or certificate and the LASU clearance portal. If you do not have a birth certificate, you can visit a local government office close to you to get one.
Your name arrangement on the birth certificate must also tally with all your documents.
After uploading, tick the “I agree” box to agree to the University’s terms and conditions then submit.
While you wait for the University officials to go through the documents you uploaded, you are expected to keep checking the portal to monitor your progress.
If a document is declined, you have to re-upload it. Candidates with certain errors will be required to pay a correction fee on the LASU payment portal.
When the LASU Central Admissions Clearance is successful, a progress bar of 100% will be displayed on the screen while you are logged in to the LACACA portal.
Upon completion, candidates will be able to print the LASU admission clearance certificate for the current academic session and will be assigned a matriculation number.
