Why do you need to print your Original JAMB Result
If you eventually get admission into any tertiary institution in Nigeria, you will be required to submit your JAMB original result. This will be included with other lists of documents like the JAMB admission letter, Secondary school testimonial, birth certificate etc.
The JAMB original result comes with a QR code that can be used to verify its authenticity. No school is allowed to accept the notification of results from admitted candidates because they can easily be forged.
It will cost you 1,500 Naira (excluding bank charges) to print the JAMB original result. If you do not have a printer, you can save the result as a PDF file on your phone or computer and print it out later.
To print your JAMB original result, you need to have your JAMB login details and the sum of 1,500 Naira.
Steps to Print JAMB Original Result Slip
Follow the steps below to print the JAMB original result;
Step 1: Log in to the JAMB Portal
The JAMB web portal is a portal where current and past JAMB candidates can perform different transactions with JAMB.
If you registered for the recent JAMB UTME registration, the login details to the JAMB portal will be created for you automatically. You should check your email address used in registering for JAMB to get this information.
For candidates who do not have a JAMB profile, you have to create a JAMB profile.
Log in to the JAMB portal using your email address and password.
If you are browsing with a smartphone, you must switch to desktop mode to access the full interface.
Step 2: Click on Print Result Slip
From the homepage, click on ”print result slip”.
You will be taken to a page which will display the various payment methods available. Select “Pay with Remita” from the list of options.
On the next page, you will see a preview of the service you are about to pay for, the price and the transaction ID.
Click on “Continue to payment”.
Preview your transaction details. Take note of the payment reference (RRR number), you may need it later on.
Click on “Pay now”
Step 3: Make Payment
You will be taken to the Remita payment page. Make sure your name, phone number and email are correct.
Click on “submit”.
From the list of payment options, select card, bank transfer or USSD.
For this tutorial, we will go with the card option.
Enter your card number, expiry date and CVV.
The CVV code is the last 3 digits behind the card.
Click on pay.
You may be required to enter an OTP code or pin. Enter either of them to complete your payment.
Step 4: Validate your Payment
Most times, after making payment for the JAMB result slip, you will be automatically logged out of the JAMB e-facility page.
Go back to the login page and enter your login details.
Remember to switch to desktop mode if you haven’t as this will give you the best user experience while using the website.
Once you are logged in, click on “My payments” located on the left-hand side.
Locate the payment you made using the RRR or transaction code you copied in the previous step. Click on get status.
If the payment was successful, click the back button to return to the previous page.
Step 5: Print your JAMB Result/Save it as a PDF
Click on “print result slip” located on the left-hand side.
Enter your JAMB registration number and submit.
Once completed, your JAMB original result slip will be downloaded to your device. You can save it as a PDF file and print it out immediately.
It is best to always have a PDF or scanned copy of your documents for easy access.
