After being offered admission to Yaba College of Technology, every candidate has to pay an acceptance fee and proceed to the online screening.

What is YABATECH Online Screening?

When a candidate is offered admission into YABATECH, the school needs a copy of some of your documents. The online screening makes it easy for you to upload those documents without joining a queue.

The screening process is done by both full-time and part-time candidates.

This makes the screening process faster.

Note: Do not confuse this to be the Post-UTME screening form sold to candidates applying to study full-time at YABATECH.

Before you can proceed with the YABATECH online screening, you must have been offered admission by the school and paid your acceptance fee.

You also need the required documents to upload. Check the list of documents below;

YABATECH Online Screening Documents for OND Full-Time

1. Original O’level certificate or online printout (The online O’level printout would only be accepted if the exam was written within the last three years)
2. JAMB Original result printout
3. Post-Utme screening result print out
4. YABATECH result verification printout.
5. Secondary school testimonial.
6. JAMB admission letter.
7. Two reference letters from Pastor/Imam and any of the following; secondary school principal, senior civil servant, Lawyer.
8. Birth certificate from the national population commission, local government office or General hospital.

YABATECH Online Screening Documents for OND Part-time

1. YABATECH result verification printout.
2. Original O’level certificate or online copy of result if the exam is not more than 3 years.
3. Secondary school testimonial.
4. Two reference letters from Pastor/Imam and any of the following; secondary school principal, senior civil servant, Lawyer.
5. Birth certificate from the national population commission, local government office or General hospital.

YABATECH Screening Requirements for HND Full-time and Part-time

1. YABATECH result verification printout.
2. Original O’level result.
3. Secondary school testimonial.
4. OND statement of result.
5. ND JAMB admission letter
6. Industrial training (I.T) letter.
7. Transcript receipt (Evidence to show that you have applied for a transcript)
8. Two reference letters from Pastor/Imam and any of the following; secondary school principal, senior civil servant, Lawyer.
9. Birth certificate from the national population commission, local government office or general hospital.

How to Upload your Documents for YABATECH Online Screening

The easiest method is to visit a cyber cafe within the school premises.

If you want to do the online screening by yourself, follow the steps below.

Step 1: Scan all the Documents

Use a scanner to scan all the documents required for the screening. Do not use a phone scanner.

After scanning, make sure the file size is not more than 200KB.

Step 2: Visit the YABATECH Online Screening Portal

Go to the YABATECH online screening portal and log in with your JAMB registration number or application number and surname as a password.

Step 3: Update your Biodata

Once you are logged in, you need to update your biodata and upload your passport.

Your passport must be in red background and must not be more than 150 x 150 pixels.

Step 4: Upload your documents

Start uploading your documents by selecting the document type and the accompanying document you scanned earlier.

Do this for all your documents before submitting them.

Step 5: Keep Checking the Portal to see the Progress

After uploading your documents and submitting them, you need to keep checking the portal to see if all the documents were accepted.

If accepted, you can print your clearance slip and go for a physical screening. If not, check for the documents that need to be reuploaded, replace the document and reupload.
