How to Check JAMB Result – 2019/2020
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released its results for candidates that wrote the 2019/2020 JAMB UTME exams.
Mr Is-haq Oloyede, JAMB registrar disclosed that the board withheld 34,120 candidates for violation of JAMB’s exam policy. He also added that 15,145 results were still undergoing scrutinization and may be released if all things go well.
In previous years, JAMB UTME candidates could check their results via a link provided by JAMB. That has changed as JAMB results can only be checked through an SMS message.
Mr Oloyede stated that the new way for checking result is to prevent candidates from being exploited by café/business centre operators.
How to Check JAMB Result (2019)
You will need to send a text message from the phone number you used to register for the 2019 JAMB UTME exam.
Simply take out your phone containing the number you used to register, send RESULT to 55019. You will get an SMS with your result after a short while.
This service will cost you 50 Naira only.
In a case where you have forgotten the phone number you used to register for JAMB, you can check the email you received from JAMB when you created your JAMB profile at a CBT centre.
Open your email, search for “Profile Creation” in the search bar. Open the email from the search result. You would see the phone number linked to your JAMB account.
